We are looking for an experienced, certified paediatric surgeon with experience in paediatric hepatobiliary surgery. Established experience with research is mandatory. A demonstrated affinity with education and surgical training is recommended. We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who is fluent in Dutch or can be certified in short period of time. We are seeking a team player who wants to work together to strengthen the future of paediatric surgery in Groningen.

Depending on the candidate's qualifications, an academic position with a view to professorship may be available.
Your salary will be a maximum of β¬ 14.265,-. gross per month (scale UMS as of July 1st), depending on your qualifications and relevant experience, based on a full-time appointment.
Additionally, the UMCG offers an 8% holiday allowance, an 8.3% year-end bonus.The conditions of employment comply with the Collective Labour Agreement for Medical Centres (CAO-UMC).
